FRIC
"Let's keep the money in AFRICA"


This all began after I made an interesting discovery by looking differently at the word "Africa"I noticed that it started and ended with an A, then I saw the A's as being brackets, I then wondered what was between the brackets. I noticed the content "fric" and wondered if it had any meaning. I was surprised to find that "fric" is a French word that means: money. 

Among all of the names for currencies, FRIC stands out from the rest in the numerical value of the word. The term for this is gematria.

When two or more digits are found together they are added, then reduced if necessary. This process can occur two or more times if there are many digit involved. This is called reduction.


I use gematria to compare FRIC with words like: money, pound, dollar, geld (money in German), monnaie and argent (the other two French words for money). Other than the FRIC, the only other currency in which the TOTAL of all letters, WHEN ADDED HORIZONTALLY is multiple of 3, is the French Franc.  While the Franc's letters total a multiple of 3, (as does "money")  not all of the Franc's individual letter values are a multiple of 3. The FRIC is the only currency in which all of its individual letter values are multiples of 3, and all of its numbers both horizontally and vertically add to 9.

The first row of numbers is the ordinal, and the second row of numbers is the reverse ordinal, so that Z is 1, Y is 2, A is 26, B is 25 . . .

Horizontally we have 6-18-9-3 which adds to 36 which reduces to 9 (3+6=9). Vertically the results are reduced to one digit, for example, the letter R: 18 is 1+8=9. 9999 is the purity of fine gold.

The binary system code
(used by computers) for 9999 is I I I I 0 0 0 0 I I I 0 0 I. If we add the position of the we marks have:
1-2-3-4-9-10-11-14 which when added total 54 (5+4=9)
